The LZ7 is a modular case that can be configured to accept either standard SFX power supplies, or DC-DC type power supplies.
When using an SFX power supply the case has up to 70mm of CPU cooler clearance, but when using a DC-DC style PSU the CPU cooler clearance opens up to 135mm.
This extra CPU clearance allows more powerful CPU coolers to be installed such as the Noctua NH-U9S tower cooler for impressively quiet cooling and overclocking potential.
Alternatively it is also allows the installation of a 120mm AIO watercooler to the top panel, or an extra 140mm case fan.
